I had an operation on my lower back because I had an unstable vertebra. They placed a piece between two vertebrae, but when I was transferred from the operating table to the stretcher, the piece came out. I walked into the operation and since I left I have not regained mobility from the waist down.
They operated on me again on April 28 in Santa Catalina, Girona. On June 9th I entered Institut Guttmann to do physical rehabilitation. I do rehabilitation every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and I have regained mobility in my legs down to my ankles. However, my feet have not regained mobility.
I work as a secretary in a real estate agency in Girona. I miss my life and I really want to get it back the way it was, although I don’t know how long it will take to get back. Above all, I miss being with my children. I want to be able to take my grandson to the park.
